I like how detailed some areas are. Overall looks nice but I think some parts could use a bit more attention.

Nice, I've done some retail renders in the past and it takes a lot of time and effort to get all those details. Not always the most glamorous work most of the time but still satisfying in the end.

This would make an excellent Bond villain hideout. Nice renders.

Wow that was a long time ago. I think you need to make sure you turn your simulation into a mesh or something that is cached.

Nice one. I love the whole styling of the scenes furniture. How did you go about the lighting?

Awesome renders, and great in detail and composition of your scene. How did you light most of the scenes?

I like your renders but I think the chromatic abberation is a bit to harsh. How did you light your interior?

I had this once during a big project I recall. We had something like a memory leak where each new frame would use more ram and slow down the render. Unfortunately we didn't solve it at the time because of deadlines and it was a minor issue.
Would love to hear a solution though.

Trying to render in seperate scene files / layers and comping them?

Overall a good looking image. Two things I noticed, one the lid from the jar looks like a perfect 90 degree rotation which I don't think will happen in real life. Second is the flowers look fake but I can't quite tell you why. Maybe the subsurface scattering is off or the normals or something I don't know

Absolutely stunning work mate.

For my previous job we always started on paper with sketches but that was a job focused on product design. My current job doesn't require as much designing like that so yeah most of the time it is fastest to dive into 3ds max. Blockouts, storyboards etc.
