I need help / Re: matte/shadow/shadowcatcher confusion

Hi Andy,

I have the same struggle here, have you come to any decent solution?

Hi, Maru,

I had a different color between corona vfb and saved images and when I clone it to 3dsmax buffer in the bright area near the floor ies light. This was caused from the saturation set to 0,05. When I put it to 0 there was no difference. B/n - I mean between

I found that using some (0.05) saturation is the reason

Hi, I was searching but didn't find the answer - I have this difference in the bright areas b/n vfb and saved images, thanks in advance.

I did this for exercise, mainly to figure out how the sun and sky and hdri lighting work. Hope you like it!

Thanks! Here is the new update. Nevertheless I still don't like the cartoonish feeling that I get. I dont use much luts, but this render is far away from the others. I mean that they get very crisp and neat result... This is with 8% noise - I will wait to see when it clears. Hope you like it anyway!

Hi, thanks for the critics. Here is the update. Which one do you like most? Please don't mind noise, I rendered for 2 hours at 25 passes. Does anyone have any tips for making it more realistic - it looks to me a bit cartoon like,
Thanks in advance,

I was rendering with two environments and this is the result with both on - one with sun and one overcast. Hope you like it!
