Here are some WIP for a client I'm currently working on. They are a bit noisy especially the board room. The client is in a hurry to see how it looks like. Corona really helped me a lot in tight deadlines such as these.

thanks for your reply , i totaly loved your last office render , i would like to know how did you achieve that realistic effect is it lightning or postproduction , if you could help me with that i would be greatfull since my raw renders from corona are usually dull
i wounder what i am missing there .
I would normally do as much as I can in 3d. Lighting setup (color, temperature and intensity), I would make numerous light tests and choose which one is best suited for the image that i need to create. Most of the time if it's a commercial project, deadlines are extremely tight especially if there is someone breathing down your neck.

As I would do it 99% of the time you should be happy with the raw render and save it as Exr or a 16bit file. I've attached the raw render of the open area here so you can see the comparison with the final post processed image. For the open area render i used AE with MB looks. I adjusted exposure, levels, made some color adjustments and added a film stock at the end, just to have a more natural look.

Hello

great great renders , i wonder if you could tell me about the materials are they converted from vray or your own or downloaded from corona materials ?
I've decided to use corona from the start of these scenes, so all of the materials used are corona materials. Although the same concept i used in vray was carried forward to the materials in these scenes.
If I use converted vray materials i always double check and test them to ensure they sit well in each scene, there are times when direct conversion doesn't work for every scene.

Hi guys,

Just want to share some more images I did with Corona render. The first one is a Lounge diner area I did for my colleague so he can see how his new apartment space would look like. The furniture is from Minotti collection and some ready made models were taken from 3d sky and evermotion. Had to finish this in just a couple of days so it's a very detailed shot.

The second one is an office open area for one client. Chairs are from boss design.

Cheers...

Nice and Clean shots. Did you only use Corona Sun and Sky in these renders?

I like how your whites are not blown out. Do you mind showing the raw renders as well? Thanks.

Hi Chebo,

Thank you for your comments. I have investigated the render and found out that I mistakenly posted the wrong image for that scene. It seems it was an old render that I made before with V-Ray...(apologies for that)

I'm reposting the image rendered with Corona. It's still a bit raw, I'll adjust a couple of textures once I have time this week.

Cheers.

Thanks for the info! I've tried a few of the CG source HDRI demos but the ones I've tried seem to have quite a strong colour cast on them. Do you mind pointing me to the one you used?

I think it was 0036-00_hdri_iceland. I modified it a bit in PS and also lowered the saturation. After that it was just playing with the exposure and highlights in the corona frame buffer during rendering until I got the result I wanted. Hope this helps..

Thanks,

It's a typical HDR lighting in the environment slot. HDR is from CG source. I adjusted the exposure and highlights in the Corona frame buffer. I also did a slight post work on it in PS and Magic Bullet Looks.

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to share these images here.

Corona is really easy to learn and the light distribution is great. Hats off to the developers of this awesome renderer.
