thank you very much for all the comments,
Loving the mood! The white lamp on the 4th image could use a bit more circular subdivisons. May I ask where did you get/buy the wooden planks texture?
Thanks!

yes you are right, it's not a good model... wooden planks by cgsource.

For windows and large glass surfaces like glass railing or walls, use hybrid refraction mode, which will generate transparent shadows instead of caustics, so rendering will be almost as fast as if there was no glass.

For small details like glasses, teapots and decorations, leave refraction mode set to solid, so it will generate some caustics... simple as that. There will be better defaults in Alpha V6.

thank you soo much Rawalanche! great!

Nice images J3DSN :)
To have a critic, I think the wood bump is too present. The tulips look like they stand alone in the center of the vase... curious !
Anyway these first renders are great ! What is your lighting ? Only sun or HDRI ?

thank you for your comments and critics, ehehe yes you are right about the tulips :p

lighting only HDRI map into environment slot, light panels at the windows, no sun
PT/HD Cache

Hi at all,

this is my first test with Corona after seeing what Bertrand Benoit had done....nothing comparable to his but i'm really amazed, very fast!!

about 30/60 min for each image...

i don't understand how glass mat works and if it possible to cross from light...

thank you at all for C.&C...
