I am posting although I am using the hotfix 1 which I guess is the daily build from 16.09 or almost the same.

Is the DR rendering problematic again?
I am getting some stange unhalted exceptions and freezing of the 3dsmax.

Hi
I did a test with the new daily build and the error is still here, the only surprise being that it's only showing in DR rendering.
Single rendering works fine.
Both machines are win 7 64b.
It's a small test scene made from scratch

I have the same errors since the previous daily build (from december).
My first thought was that maybe it's because it was a scene converted from vray but at this point it seems like a different problem.
And also if i stop the rendering it's hangs on still rendering and the whole 3dsmax.exe process need to be ended.

yes, the crash when saving is unrelated and now it happens kind of randomly - first save after opening a scene  is working ok then, at the second render it crashes aka a long freeze and you have to stop the process from task manager


this error appeared the first time I tried to render with the daily build - i switched back to ver 5 stable
win 7 64b if it matters

I have reinstalled Corona Daily 13 febr from scratch on every computer and now I get this :)

Uploaded the exr file here: Successfully uploaded as 1550231728_dr-exr-fail.exr.

Ps: Both the Slaves are Dual Xeon V1

Are you able to send me a minidump for the crash?

If possible could you also provide me with the scene in which you are experiancing this crash?

I don't think there is a minidump. Max is just hanging (aka not responding indefinitely).
I can send the scene.
I am pretty sure there is also again a DR problem - at some point the slaves stop updating pases although everything seems ok and they are rendering....
Using 3dsmax 2016 with win7 and slaves with both win 7 and win 10

Also the bloom and glare, denoise and sharpen where disabled.

Installer definitely has some problems - it's stuck on 2 computers both Win 7.
The process just stays in memory - cannot even be killed in the task manager.

Hi

I also have some issues - in my case with the latest DB 08.01.
There is clearly a problem somewhere , at least with the noise reporting if not with the DR entirely.

I've attached a small test with/without DR.

The scene was built with DB 08.12 and the master is an I7 with slave a dual xeon E5 - V1 if it matters.

Anybody else having problems with the DR in the last 2 daily builds (14,18)?
The slaves are stopping with an unknown error on the log but the master still reports "rendering".
