[Max] General Discussion / Re: Corona elements on photoshop

THANKS for answers.
I try to save all images in TIF format 32 bit.
I use the linear dodge (add) for compositing in photoshop and it's work.
All the operation must be do in 32 bit mode and only at the end save at 16 or 8 bit.

[Max] General Discussion / Corona elements on photoshop
« on: 2014-04-30, 18:57:46 »
Hi. I try to work with elements, (Corona A6) but there is something doesn't work.
I use cessential pass and put it on photoshop:
First attemp.
- Direct
- Indirect (screen)
- Reflect (screen)
- Refrection (screen)
- Emission (screen)
- Translucency (screen)

Second attemp.
- Direct
- Indirect (lighten)
- Reflect (screen)
- Refrection (lighten)
- Emission (screen)
- Translucency (screen)

The second part of each image is the beauty pass, but in all cases there are a little difference.
Somebody has some advices to obtain same image? Thanks.

[Max] General Discussion / Matte/shadow
« on: 2014-04-15, 17:30:54 »
I'm doing some tests to get the matte / shadow.
The first image only uses a HDR, in the second was added the sun.
I seem to have achieved a good result, but with the sun there is a light zone in front of object.
The material i have post is applied on plane and texture map have same uv of environment.
I know that the best way is make post with separate channel, but with this way you can see the result directly on the final render.
Does anyone have any other advice or knows a better way?
Is there a way to darken the shadows?

Thanks.
S.
