hi..how you did wet road material in 3rd image.

My gues it is reflection map.

Hi...reflection map is not giving wet look.

Same logic applies:

Hi,,

ya its a reflection Blend material, You have to just mask it over Reflection map for wet road effect..one is base road material with blurry reflection and sub material mask with B&W map for wet patches..

Hi friends,

Here is my recent renders  -

model is picked up from internet.. just did lighting and texturing in Corona renderer.
1 hr 30 min for each render on my i7.
Corona Alpha 6 is awesome - fast rendering, easy to setup a scene and lighting
I used 3Ds Max, Corona renderer, PS And AE for Post work.

Here is modified version of render ...please see the diff between vray and corona..... both are very good
corona gives me more realistic look than vray .... vray took more compositing work than corona just the problem is too much noise.... i placed it for 4 hrs sitll giving grain..... but for single frame its worth... animation sucks....

Is it possible for a building to be so close to road? I don't like the procedural noise fog and something is wrong with lighting - maybe the building is too bright, but everything else looks fine.

Thanks for suggestions . .
I am still working on same file so doing all changes also suggest by you too and will upload the final image as soon as possible

Hello Everyone,

This is my 2nd render with corona... this time I tested with Exterior model...
Here is the render

New changed render -

Rendered in Vray

rendered in Corona

I skipped modeling part, in this scene I took more attention on lighting setup which can produce winter evening climate.
small details like wet roads, reflection on plantation.
There are few things to be done on materials specifically on house (looks dead in foggy environment) will work on it and upload it later...
As i mentioned in interior post i took Zdepth pass and Reflection pass to adjust depth and show wet objects like road and plantation,
i convert zdepth into fog(playing with zdeth High and low levels) post work done in After Effect.

Render output - 1080pi, on HP z800, 16 Giggs RAM took me 2 Hrs to render still got noise but looks ok for me
so I hope you all like it..waiting for your suggestions also....:)

regards

Thanks Sam  ...

No... corona dof taking too much Time for render so... i added in the Post (AE)by using Zdepth pass .. even we can adjust the dof amount and focusing later by this way......

For Flare i used AE presets( lens flare and grainy patch created in PS ) and de-saturate the image for getting photo look

[Max] Resolved Bugs / rectangle corona light visibility
« on: 2012-11-22, 03:25:57 »
Hello,

when i added rectangle corona  light in my interior scene for getting reflection to the environment and placed it nearer or side to the camera  then.. it's visible in render in mirror(in scene  the one wall is completely mirror material and that mirror showing light)...  i switched off camera visibility and light visibility in modifier window still giving me same output....??????

Hello Everyone,

Here is my first Test Render with awesome plu-gin like Corona Render...

I used most of the Ready made stuff to reduce modeling part.... but took special attentions on Shaders and Post Work..
Shader creation is Excellent.. like material preview...got confuse on creating glass and mirror.
waiting for SSS..

Render settings are PT + HD cache
Render Time - 1 Hour

I did post work using After effect instead of Photoshop bcoz its giving me more freedom on working with passes.. adding extra details like flares, Particular dust  and color correction..

SO... thanks for such a wonderful App.... Waiting for new advanced build.....
