Gallery / OVERLAP - a cultural hub that strengthens the bonds of the local community

Every day, buildings and locations become abandoned and decay, exposed to time, weather, or vandalism. Italy is no exception, with even remote villages and towns losing their populations, leading to the erosion of local identity. Repurposing these spaces is challenging but necessary to revive their potential. The Borgo di Castellazzo and surrounding areas are gradually losing residents, with only 16 left today. Restoring a sense of community is crucial, creating a space that meets local needs and reestablishes connections.

The Overlap Cultural Hub aims to provide a versatile space for cultural activities, strengthening ties within the Bollate community and supporting the work of the Foundation Augusto Rancilio, already present since the early 2000s. It will enhance life for those in and around Castellazzo, creating a space for both locals and visitors to connect and thrive.

Hello everyone! After such a long time, I am super excited to share a recent project I did for Choros Sifakis Architects, a Greek architecture office in Athens.

Tools used: 3dsmax, Chaos Corona Renderer, Itoo Forest Pack, Quixel Megascans, Magnific Upscale, and Adobe Photoshop.

well done so realistic and looks like italian and middle eastern mood and nature .

Thank you! This mixture of mood and nature also exists in Greece, but yes - they are all really close indeed.
