Belly the DOF comes within A5 Corona version. All corona and just added Chromatic aberration and some more contrast to simulate silver retention.

Yes, its post processed DOF. I will render the image again with Corona DOF to be fair with the renderer.
Also I will try to use just Corona postprocess engine.

I think I gave you the scene without that vray mat. So It shouldnt cast any red light or crash if it was that.

Last night I render it with another camera angle, and without the vray obj. It went until 9hs of render without crashing in one of my i7 3770k.
I will still keep running tests in other machines though.

I´ve rechecked the scene. Apparently there was a object with a vray material still on, and not hidden.
