correct way how to create caustic is really simple.. just check in your material caustic checkbox B-) and set render solver to Prograsive PT+PT or BiDir/VCM... that´s it

sorry man, but your caustic faking looks absolutely horrible...what you achieved is floor with water caustic, which looks incredible funny :D

btw, correct workflow for liquids in glasses in Corona is to make the liquid geometry slightly overlap with the faces creating the container.

I do it this way and always satisfied with result.. It look more natural to me than detaching geometry

in this stage there is only sky/sun supported and that's it.. no lights, no portals, no HDCache settings, really nothing :) only Corona Core, but still - renders looks great

I´m on i7 2600k overclocked at 4,5Ghz and my time is somewhere around 3 mins +/-. I dont have scene already. That was just a quick test, so i deleted it

settings are BR+BR,  26 Samples
