Lovely image. Your plants and nature looks really good. I spotted a parrot and a turtle. The water in the first shot looks a bit of, looks like the wavy patterns in the water are to smooth or something.
Thank you! Well, I wanted the water in that shot to be a bit calmer, so it's quite smooth, what confuses you might be the fact that the material of the pool surfaces is a Multitexture stone, so it creates some unexpected reflections/refractions.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback!
And yes, tortoise and parrot are correct ;)

This is Lush, my latest personal project and my only way to travel this year.
Really loved testing out caustics a bit more!
Can you spot the animals?

Love the atmosphere, especially evening mood.

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like it, that's actually my favorite one too

Thank you Peter, I'm glad you like it! If have any more specific questions I will gladly answer, because when I work on my personal projects I kind of get "in the zone" and go with the flow of what I have in mind and what I want to achieve, wouldn't know specifically how to describe the process (also because the three images have been done in three different moments, as a working mom of a 10 months baby I have to get the best I can of his napping time ;) )

Understood! I know the baby thing:) Got one myself.

What is your approach to lighting the scene? One single source(Hdri etc) or more sources?
Do you use multiple exposures to get a balanced look?

The main source is an hdri, then I have candles, string lights, light beams at the base of the walls and a "soft box" on top of everything, then I adjusted and tweaked the amount of each light with the light mix, and in post I added a bit more of light where I needed it adding each light element in screen through a mask.
I attached you a screenshot of the scene. I hope I answered your question :)

Great work. Supernice scene. Would you mind sharing your process?

Very nice.
Gardens are difficult to get bang on so well done.
Thank you! I had really clear in mind (and a nice collection of references) what I wanted to achieve and tried my best to get there :)

Looks nice and quote convincing.
Quickly came to the forum to "cleanse" my eyes from monotonous clients work... and your pics are good for it. :)

Thanks a lot, glad it helped soothing your eyes ;)

I made the main image as a personal project during the quarantine, then decided to get a bit "closer" and developed the close up.
It is full CGI (except for the animals) all worked on 3ds max and Corona.
Let me know what you think ;)
