[Max] I need help! / Problem white dot flicker
« on: 2025-06-11, 19:18:01 »
Hello

I made a basic video lit in HDR (the wheels don't move because that wasn't the goal at the moment). I'm still having flickering issues that I don't understand ,
especially on the black car. They're white dots that you'll see mostly on the cars in the video (the cars are from the Cosmos of Corona).

If you have any ideas, I'm all ears because I'm losing hope!!

Thanks you so much

even with another hdri and a unique texture on the car there are white dots and artifacts

Hello

I have a problem with artifacts and white points that sparkle on the black car in the background of the image, I think it's the sun from the HDRI but I can't find any solutions to remove it,

 thank you for your help

[C4D] General Discussion / question interactive render
« on: 2021-06-05, 11:38:56 »
Hello

in c4d the interactive rendering when I change the bloom or the glare or the tone mapping the image and each time recalculated and start again at 0. in 3ds max with corona when I change the bloom and the glare in the interactive one sees the changes next and the image is not calculated and does not resume at 0. can we avoid this in c4d?

thanks you

[Max] General Discussion / question RAW RENDER
« on: 2020-05-06, 20:18:58 »
hello

I wanted to know the interest of making a Raw rendering reden darker for after doing post production? and also how do we determine the parameters to adjust such a dark brightness and make a perfect raw?

3d is an example that I found on the net of bb3viz

thanks you so much

Yes, if there is fast movement in a scene, then there will be big changes between one frame and another, which will look unnatural. In cameras, since the frame is exposed for a set amount of time, this motion blurs in that frame (the object moves from one place to another during the exposure, and you get a blurred look). In the human perceptual system, the brain blends things together across a period of time (so much the same effect).

So for fast moving/changing things, a perfectly sharp, frozen image changing to another perfectly sharp, frozen image looks unpleasant. Motion blur resolves this, helping the frames blend from one into another and give more of a sense of continual movement rather than suddenly moving from one location to another. It's less of an issue at higher frame rates, as you have smaller movements between each frame (less time has passed, the object has moved less far), even so, some motion blur is still a good idea :)

thank you very much for your very precise explanations that help me a lot! I will test all of this
