Is this for animation? If that's the case, then you definitely should try softer filtering. I think box is the softest. Also try to increase filter width to 3-4 px. Motion blur also could help a great deal with your issue, but it would add to render time, so maybe worth to try to apply it in post.

Yes it is. I'll try that. Thanks again.

Thanks for your reply, romullus.

The filter is default. I'll look at changing the filter and see if I can get better results. I can't really afford more render passes in the budget though, but I'll experiment to see if more passes would have helped.

[Max] I need help! / Opacity Noise [Corona 5 - 3ds Max 2020]

How do I reduce the noise in her hair (right side)? The overall noise in the image is at 1.59% and I can't get it to clear.

Yeah it can be tough but if you plan ahead and take your time it is much easier to do. First thing is to ensure you have a good, properly lit greenscreen if compositing people. Of course you want the set lighting to match the 3d lighting as closely as possible and you can tweak the 3d lighting later if needed. I like to use Corona's lightmixer for this.

Once in After Effects and the greenscreen has been removed, it's just a matter of tweaking the matte, color correcting the foreground or background plates (or both) and grading as desired.

But it all boils down to the lighting both in the real world and the virtual world. Corona's tools make preparing for the match really easy once you have your workflow established.

Hi all. I want to share some screen grabs of Corona used in my Amazon series "Capitol Murder". I used Corona exclusively for set extensions and full 3d environments. Hope you like them. :)
