[C4D] I need help! / HDRI as Backplate
« on: 2022-05-06, 12:06:27 »
Hey Folks,

i have a quick question. That you hopefully can help me with.

In a current Project (ArchViz) iam using a HDRI as a Backplate.

Its plugged in the Corona Sky and is visible only for the camera.

So far so good.

But I need to make a lot of Single Shots along on one side of my Balcony.

In the single frames the Sky Object is not moving along with the camera properly.

How can I achieve a seamless transition from shot to shot.

I tried to use the HDRI as a normal C4D Backplate but this doesn't look right (just flat).

I I could also mask the sky in the scene afterwards in PS but I'am curious now.

Thanks for your Help

Cheers
Florian

PS: The Project is very big so I uploaded these Attachments to help you understand.

Hello Coronauts,

can someone please help me to understand, how much the process of rendering depends on hdd/ssd speed?

For my understanding, Corona uses the hdd mainly in the process of parsing the scene ? Except there is no more RAM than it swaps? Is this correct ?

So the parsing, in my case, is nothing that I worry about. But does a hdd slow down the whole rendering ?

I have most of my files except "project files" on external drives. I would invest in external ssd, if this would speed up the rendering.

Hope you all understand what I mean :-).

Thank you in advance

[C4D] I need help! / How to create a Cocktail Material ?
« on: 2020-02-24, 16:38:17 »
Hey Folks,

iam using Corona for C4d for 8 Months by now. Iam really glad that i extended my License for another year.
Until now, i found all solutions to my questions in this forum or on other platforms.
But now iam running into problems, that hopefully someone can solve.

Iam trying to create a cocktail. But i cant get these smooth fadings between the liquids.
I tried to insert DirtMaps (Smear) to mix colors(Liquids), but that looked just weird :-D
I added a picture, how the cocktail should look like.

Is this even possible ?

Big Thx and best regards

PS: iam using Cinema4d R21 - Corona 5
