Have you tried Intel denoiser? I don't use Corona Denoiser anymore, I don't see any advantages over Intel's.
This one should be faster and give you (in my opinion) better results.

No I've not tried that one as I thought it was best to use Corona high quality denoiser for animation.

Hi. I'm rendering a 1080p test image and was wondering if the denoiser is working as it should. My render time is 21 seconds and the denoiser time is 34 seconds. The denoiser is set to Corona high quality. I want to render an 4K animation but the denoise times seems quite long. Is it better to turn off denoiser and just do the denoising in post in say Davinci?

Hi.

I currently use Cinema 4D R20. When I do interactive rendering the Cinema 4D viewport runs fine.

I just tried out the latest version of Cinema 4D 2025. When doing interactive rendering the Cinema 4D viewport is very laggy. Does anyone else have this problem with Cinema 4D 2025 also?

Note I keep all the setting the same and have also tried using the same scene.

Hi Tom. It just started working after a restart. Before when I clicked on it nothing happened and it didn't even load. It's a great new feature along with the virtual tour. Is there a limit to the number of tours I can create?

Hi. The Collab button isn't working for me. I've watched the youtube video of new features and can see how it should work. I'm using Cinema 4D R20. Is this a known bug? Thanks.

The image upscaling factor in both is set to 1.

Lock IR Resolution is off on both. Scaling is 100% on both. I set the resolution in the output C4D menu to 1680 x 1050, then when an image is rendered I'm saving it and checking the image size.

This was all IR rendering, although I tihnk I was getting the same results in final render too.

I just had the Use upscaling ticked under performance settings/Interactive rendering

Thanks for the fast reply. Great video showing all the new features, I've just watched it. :)

I'm not sure it's working correctly for me and I seem to get different results.

In Cinema 4D 2025:
The image size when rendering is 1680 x 1050 in my settings. I do two test renders, one with upscaling on and one with it off. Both images render at 2980x1863.

In Cinema 4D R20:
The image size when rendering is 1680 x 1050 in my settings. I do two test renders, one with upscaling on and one with it off. Both images render at 1680 x 1050. The quality of the image with upscaling on is worst in Cinema 4D R20 also. (please see attached images).

Hi. Are there any tutorials on the new image upscaling feature? I see a few options and wasn't too sure exactly how its working. I see the following options:

Render settings/General settings/Upscaling
Preferences/Interactive rendering/ Image upscaling factor
Render setting/Performance settings/Interactive rendering/Use upscaling


So do I just set it to always under the general settings and then apply it in the other menu if I want it active in the IR?

Hi. Corona render seems to crash all the time for me. I was wondering if this is normal or is this a problem with my setup? I'm using the latest version of Corona render, Windows 11, Cinema 4D R20.

I get a message saying... the plugin legionlib_release.dll has crashed.

Any advice is much appreciated. :)

Yes I had a look through these, WOuld be nice to have more varaition/options with doors open etc also. :)I guess it doesn't matter if the models have materials on.
