[C4D] I need help! / c4d material editor preview

hi people,

I have a general Problem with the preview of Materials in cinema 4d (preview in the Material editor)
materials are much more brighter in ther rendering as its shown in the editor preview (no its not about the lighting in the scene)
in 3ds max I would check the gamma settings.

any idea how to fix this?

Hey,

just after updating to corona 4, Corona starts to ignore an render Region (in the Corona VFB)

any ideas?

(it starts rendering, but the whole picture, not the selected region)

turning the preview quality down to 2-3 helped a little bit.
compared to 3ds max it seems to be much more slower is far as i can say.

i will contact maxon because thats not the only performance problem we are dealing with.

i keep you updated.

Is this for all materials or just certain one's that might use special effects such as displacement or SSS for example?

thats the strange thing. its basically with all materials.

no one else dealing with such a problem?

i tried to find some information about Preferences/memory, but couldnt find anything

sorry my fault. of course we are using corona version 4

window size dosent have a rela influence. (but it should, i know)

Howdy! Well, no changes in the version you have, other than moving from release to hotfix 1. We don't change already released code (without it getting a new hotfix number that is). BTW, why Corona 3 and not Corona 4?

So, unless you updated to Hotfix 1 recently and things changed, the changes must be due to non-Corona things, such as changes to C4D, the OS, the router, etc. Or it could be that recent projects are sending less data back and forth over the network and so are working fine, while previous projects with problems were larger and more complex?

Yes there where some changes  (Cinema 4d from 19 to 20). Scenes sizes where always different (smaller and or larger)

I will make a test on the issue again to hopfully get a 100% answer if it works ALWAYS or just most of the time.

Hey there,

We have a constant Problem:

The Material Preview is very slow, getting worst when you go and "open window" to have
a bether View.

Any ideas??

Hey everyone.

We had great problems with disconnecting render nodes with TeamRender.
Its seems to be bether now (for no reason?)

Would it be possible to get the latest Update on that topic?
