I did a couple more tests:

1 - Using 25% of the threads (-8) resulted the same 100% utilization on all threads ( some threds a bit reduced but very minimal. )

2 - Using 50% of the threads (-16) here was constant changing between 88% - 100%.

Note:

I did a test scene with just a cube and sky on it and it worked as expected reducing the utilization to 50-65%.
Second test with heavier scene it keeps at 100% no matter how many threads are set.

Did you try with a heavier scene?

Same problem here, I tried different values on - Threads and still getting 100% of usage.

IPR will slowdown the system drastic making impossible to use. Therefore, production render will get to 100% of usage but doesn't effect much on computer responsiveness.

Using the old one, the v2 is buggy on a separate monitor, it doesnt resize corretly and when you open drop down menus it shows up on the other monitor. I don't like the predfine zoons and the ui takes a lot of space

I've tried everything you've listed to do and absolutely nothing changes on my 9950x with Asus ProArt X870e. Guys, this way it is really impossible to use CoronaRenderer, and we've been in this situation since December 2024.

Kindly (I imagine it's the same for everyone), try to resolve it shortly because we are in the third month where it is impossible to use the software correctly (which I love but alas, I'm now using alternatives like RedShift because I can't block the PC every time).

I don't want to be the bad cop in the situation, but until you solve it, at least offer us VANTAGE (hoping it doesn't have these problems), a way to at least mitigate the problem for those of us who have these inconveniences and are trying in any way to stay here and help you to continue the experience with CoronaRenderer.

Vantage is even worse, not all material and tags are compatible, some scenes won't even open

Latest Corona 12 update1
Amd r9 5950x

IPR takes a long time to start and when it does the system freezes and slowdown.

It's very hard to work with

Hello,

 I have an external monitor and IR VFB 2.0 doesnt adjust to VFB size, the legacy VFB works fine.
Vertical monitor seems to be the problem, I tried setting up horizontal and it worked fine.

Also the color are quite different as you can see in the pics.

I did request this feature (on/off button) to be in the VFB UI looong time ago.., so we could change this on the go instead going into the prefs... but no words.

Send to Picture viewer is part of my workflow now but the problem in the latest release is that picture viewer is not importing the camera settings from the scene and vfb, when it open the render in PV all the settings are lost. We did report this issue and we're waiting to get fixed.

Hello

I'd like to request the format .PSD to be added to VFB save options.

Also the mac version doesn't show the extension like .tiff but the full name, showing the extension would be a nice lil improvement to UX.

I just noticed they release the final version and I guess it didn't get fixed.
Well, not everything can be magically fixed a few days before a major release ;) We do have it logged and I'm sure it will be addressed.

Not sure why the sarcasm here.

We don't have the changes notes between rc3 and final version this makes impossible to know if it got fixed or not. Also last response we got from you in the other tread  was that it was working fine, there were not mention about loging whatsoever.
