Gallery / Notre Dame TRNSFRM + Lightmap Creative
« on: 2020-10-09, 15:40:22 »
Hi all!
Would love to share with this amazing community a project we did a while ago and we got permission to share now.

I know you have seen too many versions of Notre Dame alternative roofs ( by the way the one with the pool is my favorite)  then I thought, I could make the same statement with Scandinavian Interiors, but every time I see a new on,e I can find something different that I like.

Having said that, here our personal version of Notre Dame 2.0, we really enjoyed working on this project with TRSFRM Architects from Amsterdam.
We put all our passion to create some visual that can help the Architects to tell his idea

Hope you'll like

I like lighting and photographic mood of the shots, but probably the background, it's a bit off, the perspective is not quite right also in the chair close up I can see the tile repetition.

Gallery / Corona 4 daily build - ANIMATION
« on: 2019-04-16, 00:25:27 »
Hey there just to share with you my latest commercial animation any comments and critique are very welcome!
The project was commissioned to be shown in an article of the New York Post, and CBS News
The deadline was really crazy, I did that in one week in full cgi rendering everything in house with my poor 2x Xeon E5 2667 v2, I almost burn it!
I know there are many good render farm out there but I haven't tested yet so I don't know how they work exactly.
Here and there is full of things that could be improved.
Also I made a BIG mistake, since I was testing the corona 4 daily build at home, before I received this project, Due to the tight deadline I started working and rendering as soon as possible and I noticed I was using the daily build only after I finished to render the first sequence, so in the end I decided to finish the animation with it. But I have to say this version seems very promising and fast!
Working with It noticed this version has some problem with lights with "non phisical" parameters for example inside hof the small houses I putted some sphere light that you can see they kind of cast shadows on the pavements eventhough the occlude other light parameter is turned off.
For this project I used 3ds max, Corona 4 daily build 2019 02 22, phoenix, megascans, After Effect, Premiere.
Each frame was rendered more or less in 3 minutes at 1920*1080, If you are interested more in my rendering setting let my know I'll posted.
Also if you like the project and want more information you can take a look here

Gallery / Remembering that summer in Madrid
« on: 2019-03-30, 10:38:09 »
Based on the memories and the feelings I had in my travel to Madrid,
my soul was warmed by the sun and the air was full of the aroma of ripe fruit.
Starting from the experience of Jamie Hayon and deviated to a complete new concept.
For this project I've used 3ds max , Corona 3.0 , Megascans , almost no Photoshop, trying to get the right contrast directly by the render engine.
Sincerely yours

I've never tried to render a sequence with no sampling pattern. I have to test it, btw I think the problem is that 7-8% of noise is too high, also remember that the denoiser clean each frame in a different way so that's why you see the noise "moving". I'd try to re render with 3-4 % of noise and low down a bit the settings to save some time. 21 hrs for 5 sec interior animation (around 120 frames) sounds a bit too much unless you have an old cpu.

I think it does a bit.
Did you render with udh? Which setting did you use? Denoise Amount?
I think if you rerender a clean version it would be much better.

Beside the excessive noise, Is an Amazing project, the composition of the different cameras are stunning.
Kudos to you, very cinematic and immersive.

Hi guys, here it is my latest personal project.
Originally I started creating this image for the Hp Mars Home Planet Rendering Challenge, unfortunately due to an overload of work I haven't had time to finish this image on time.
The idea behind was to imagine how could be everyday life on mars and the relationship between humans and robots.
Also, I took the opportunity to test the new volumetric material in Corona and I did my first rigging with the Astronaut.
Hope you like.
Best
