I know Blender. Their interface has always been a horror. Even if version 2.8 has been improved, it is still far from being intuitive and user-friendly. I prefer to stay on C4D :)

I do 3D rendering occasionally and on a strictly personal, which does not justify for me a subscription of 25 euros/month.
3DSmax has a free version, and it was planned that a free version would also be available for Cinema4D users.

As I said a few months ago, 3D is casual for me (https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=23042.msg141349.msg141349#msg141349) and my means do not allow me a subscription that would only serve me from time to time.

I do not have a subscription and the 45-day period is over.
I deleted the license and tried again but I still can't activate.

I checked on the site if there was a version available, as for the alpha6 of 3DSmax. But I didn't see any.

Happy to see Corona C4D come to an end;)
Question:
Will the Beta2 version remain a free version of Corona? And will it require activation every week?
I do 3D for my personal pleasure and occasionally, which for me does not justify a subscription of 25Euros / month. My renderings bring me absolutely nothing.
For users like me, a reasonable 'one shot' price would be a good thing.

For Corona:

And can we call the material conversion function?

If Google has translated well (i'm french and don't speak english):
The problem of the SSS with an object having several materials, a character for example, exists on C4D and 3DSmax. But the developers do not consider it a problem or a bug, and therefore, do not plan to correct it?
I hope I'm wrong, otherwise render of the character, or any object having multiple materials, will be excluded from Corona :(

Hi PROH,
Thank you for your answer, I see that I am not the only one :)
For the moment, I create a second material with only Refraction with the same texture as for the Diffuse of the first material. I then use Layered to overlay both. By doing this, I have SSS without seams ;)

Hi
SSS has a problem when the object (a character) is composed of several textures. Head, Torso, Arms, Legs etc ...
I always have a black line where the textures meet. I tested many settings, but it persists!
