General CG Discussion / Re: in what resolution to deliver?
« on: 2017-10-17, 14:19:53 »
IMHO there is no standard. It depends on your client and how he/she will use your visuals (print, screen, .....)
In our case I deliver images between 5 and 6K.

Woww bigger than i thought!
Thank you for the reply.

General CG Discussion / in what resolution to deliver?
« on: 2017-10-17, 13:56:11 »
Hi all,
I wonder what is your final resolution for delivery to client?
Are there any business standards? What is a high resolution?

Thank you already.

Hi all!!
I have a problem with batch rendering.

I want to render 2 image of same project with .cxr format. I want the first image with an hdri, second with a corona sky.  It seems very easy, but unfortunately I couldn't manage to do it.  So far I have achieved to receive 2 cxr. format output, but none of them have the interactive light elements. Somehow batch render erases them...

I would be really appreciate if anyone give it a try...

thank you already...

You can use a Corona Output map to adjust the gamma of the HDRI, which you could do in the Vray HDRI map. This will enable you some control over the sharpness of shadows to a certain extent.

I am very newbie...

Thank you  AscotDesign I will try with corona output!

thank you Maru, I will try AscotDesign's suggestion... Then I will try other tutorials, if I can not achieve I will let you know.

[Max] I need help! / Why all HDRI tutorials requires VRAY?
« on: 2017-07-05, 11:20:25 »
Hi all,

I would like to achieve sharp shadows via hdri map... But unfortunately all the best tutorials seem to require vray... I don't have a vray license and I believe sharp shadows can be achieved with using only corona . Right? Any help will be appreciated!! Best!
