Hi robhicklin3d,

Thanks for your valuable comment and reference. I cross checked the scale of the HAY chair and it seems just fine, plus it's a DC model, who are usually quite precise. The essence of this project was to keep it minimalistic and clean so didn`t go with much propping should have mentioned that in the description, my bad.
