I'm trying to render an animation as an image sequence with Alpha channel. How do I get the bloom and glare to come through on the alpha pass? It just cuts the bloom and glare off at the moment. Should I be using multi-pass?

What OS are you on?

Was the scene created in a much older build? That can create errors/artifacts of all kinds. If so, merge the whole scene into a new scene in C4D and try rendering that.

I've updated to the most recent build and I'm not experiencing any issues similar to this.

I don't believe there are any alternatives.. other than begging Rebus to update to one of the latest builds. I've rendered maybe 8 projects through rebus, using corona + C4D, and i have issues almost every time. You just have to expect that when rendering with an Alpha build. I've looked many times for alternatives to Rebus that support corona + C4D but haven't had any luck.

Maybe you could convince them to update to a beta build.

Not sure what's going on here. Only when rendering this object in IR, i get weird texture artifacts all over the object.

If i render in the viewport, i get the correct result. Same goes for picture viewer and VFB. It only happens in IR.

The only way I'm able to fix it is by removing the Phone tags.. why is this?

First screenshot is with Phong tags, second is without.

2017-10-24 Build. Mac OSX Sierra: 10.12.6.

here's an example.

It usually happens when applying a texture. Sometimes it also just turns black.

This wasn't an issue on earlier builds.

In this case i fixed it by toggling the diffuse channel off and back on.

I also have this issue. sometimes changing the viewport preview size will fix it or toggling the diffuse channel on and off.. but not always. very annoying.

Also on newest build, Mac OSX Sierra.

It's OK to be upset and I understand that Olcay does not want to use the current version until it's more stable. But providing us with useful bugreports is much more constructive in terms of helping us make the plugin more usable!

Exactly my point.. not the least bit constructive. I'm impressed by your composure in dealing with comments like that..  they would drive me insane if i were in your position.

Thanks for the new version Nikola, the IR is great for new simple scenes and can only get better as the bugs get squashed!

I've uploaded a scene that worked flawlessly in the previous version and crashes immediately on hitting render with the new version.

I'm on Win10 running C4D R19

It uses the forester plugin but I'm not sure if that's relevant.

This happened to me when trying to open/render any projects created in the alpha, with the beta versions.

It was an easy fix for me.. I just merged the scene into a new scene in C4D.

Thanks for your effort guys but looks like c4d users will still be min 10 step behind from  3dsmax users  :\

this release is not usable for us now  we will cam back to the last version

Was there ever a version of Corona for C4D with a stable VFB on OSX? I remember trying to use VFB on multiple versions of corona (R18 on Sierra. 10.12.4) and never having much luck.. Always buggy. On one version i remember not being able to close VFB once i opened it, without quitting C4D. I've just stuck with the picture viewer.
