[Max] I need help! / Matching Colors
« on: 2017-09-26, 15:16:12 »
I'm working with exterior renderings and I'm having my materials constantly be washed out. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I'm specifically using Sherwin Williams colors and matching the rgb values, but after rendering the colors are no longer accurate to what the material should really look like. Any tips or suggestions for solving this issue? Attached is the finished product. The body should be a Downing Sand with R:203 G:188 B:165, and accent pieces being a Rockwood Clay R:154 G:126 B:100

For the boxx, do we need a workstation license to get the boxx to render or do we add a node from each of our stations to the boxx to send renders from our stations?

This is the error message we receive when attempt to send it to the boxx. We also noticed that our license is currently only for 3 nodes and we have all three on work computers but not one on the boxx computer. Is that also causing the error?

We have a boxx off station that we used to render with mental ray but since the corona upgrade we are unable to use the boxx to render anymore. Are we missing a plug in with corona or something or is it an issue with the boxx itsself?

[Max] I need help! / Re: Light Mix Render
« on: 2016-11-08, 15:40:11 »
For everyone interested, we found a quick fix for the problem. In your render setup box, go to the Light Mix page and highlight all lights in your scene. You can then uncheck the enable box in the bottom left corner of the box. However, once you disable the lights, you can no longer adjust them as your work unless you enable them once more. This is the only solution we have found currently that allows for everything to be set up correctly while batch rendering what you need without rendering the light mix setup.

[Max] I need help! / Light Mix Render

Is there a way to stop the light mix from rendering in the batch render? Every time I render something, it creates the file I need but also renders every light mix element individually. Tips?
