Hi Marcin, thanks for your reply.

Let me clarify.

We rendered this scene for a video and rendered the people separately.

As you see on the composite, if I apply the shadow catcher to everything, the building doesn´t cast shadows, so the 3D people shadows is not realistic (you can see on the image there is shadows from the sun, even being blocked by the building)

If I leave the building without shadow catcher, it will apply the shadow on the ground, but it won´t differentiate from the 3D people shadow.

So in this case, the shadows from the building will be duplicated when compositing.

We are trying to composite some 3D people on a scene we made and we are having issues with the shadows.

If we apply a shadow catcher material, to everything, but the 3D people, the geometry will not cast shadows, so the result is not realistic.

If we just add the shadow catcher material to the floor an render the 3D people and the floor, the shadows from the other geometry will be duplicated on the floor.

As an example, on the attached image, the floor is using a shadow catcher material. I need the shadows the pillars create on the teapot and the actual teapot shadow, I don´t want the pillars shadow on the floor, or this will be duplicated with the shadow from scene I´m compositing it with.

We did a fountain in phoenix and on the render test, we are getting a lot of fireflies.

This comes from the sun reflection.

Weird thing is that the reflection is set to zero here, so why I´m getting this?

Sorry I was out for some days and didn´t see the replies.
On our team some people just assemble things, they don´t finalize the render.
If they could do quick previews that would be great.
just seing the max screen preview, you can´t see finishes accurately.

It would be nice to have a "dumb" version just for previews.
We have a studio and part of the team just builds assets, model architecture or build landscape.
Those people don´t render or light the scene, they just need some very simple previews.
They don´t even save images, so that could be disbled too.

Having a full license for that is simply not worth it.
We thought about leaving Corona 7 for them, but issues appear when rolling back versions.

Where can we find the files for offline installation?

I have some workstations that don´t have internet access.
How can I make an offline install? I noticed that it is downloading the materials.

The main issue is cleaning the Indirect light. Even the direct light is taking longer to clean.
And this is not happening only in this file, all our files we have to increase GI to AA level and sometimes the Light Samples Multiplier.

Hi Ondra, just sent Marcin one file, but this is happening in general.
Indirect light is taking much more time to clean up, so we have to increase GI to AA.

I'm having the same problem. Much more noise and more time to clean it.
I have to increase gi to aa to 64 to make it better, but still taking more time than 1.52.

I´ve noticed that this new version of Corona (1.6) has introduced much more noise.
Almost all our scenes we have to increase GI to AA to 64.
If we leave int he default setting the render goes to almost 100 passes and noise still close to 10%.
