Hi! How does "synchronization interval" and "max pixels to transfer at once" impact the rendering time? I have just build a slave machine with two xeon 2670 v1 processors and tested it with cinebench. The resuilt was 2000 pts. My main pc does have a score of 1200 pts (i7 6800k) so i clearly see that slave machine is faster. I have just rendered a scene with the resolution of 8000 x 4000px and the resuilt was 96 passes on the i7 machine and 70 on the dual xeon one. I was expecting that second one to be faster. This was with the synchronization interval of 240 with max pixels to transfer at the default setting. Synchronization time seems not to have that much impact since i changed it from default. Do you have any suggestions of how to set this up? Or thats just how things are supposed to be and i wont see any better resuilts? Thanks for any help.
EDIT: Sorry i didn't notice that the number 96 was a sum of passes rendered by main pc + slave. Pretty stupid oversight. There is no problem with my slave machine.
