I received some information so I will share it with you :

IMPORTANT

Be aware that using OCIO in network mode will NOT work using Deadline in max 2025 (probably 2024 too)…

This result in incorrect texture color profile and max will switch to unmanaged Color mapping… (confirmed so far using Vray, or corona, Max lightening daemon or MAX CMD)…

Need to try if this happen too with Backburner (should since maxcmd in deadline is basicly backburner mode), to know if this is a Deadline issue, or a MAX issue.

EDIT : it appear this happen with backburner too (sadly still not compatible with ipV6 local network in 2024), so this is a 3dsMAX network mode issue…

EDIT 2 : OCIO Env Variable have NO effect

Edit 3 : So far the only way i found OCIO working on a renderfarm, is setting max color management to gamma Workflow (the old good way), then use Vray in ACES mode (loading the ACES 3dsMax ‘.OCIO’ build-in config in Vray VFB, if you want OCIO display as max OCIO default), then only use Vray bitmap, with primaries and color transfert set correctly and manually (no auto/default mode)…

Hi corona team,

The issue is when we use the color managment in a scene and we send it to our renderfarm, the color managment is not active anymore in node mod. On nodes the scene is open as gamma workflow.

Could someone can help with this ?

We are using Pulze to send scenes.

CoronaCam Overscan


Script Description :

This script is made to overscan a Corona Camera.
The script allow you to overscan your render in width and height.
By modifing this parameters it will change automatically the focal lenght (or FOV) of your camera.

Key features :

The overscan is automatic, you just need be sure to select a CoronaCam before changing the width or height value and also to be sure to close the render setup windows before.  (For security the scriupt will close the windows by itself).


Usage :

You need CoronaRenderer Installed !!
Select a CoronaCam
And play with the Width and Height parameter

Install :

- Drag and Drop into your viewport
- Open Custumize -> Custumize User Interface...
- Open Toolbar Tab- Find into "# Scripts" category
- Drag and Drop the script into your interface
- DONE !!

Corona Render Elements Manager


Script Description :

This script is made to automatically add and manage all Corona Render Elements faster.
The script check if CoronaRenderer is installed and switch to the right Renderer (You can't use this script without CoronaRenderer)
The Default selection is made for basic composition.

Key features :

You can adjust directly ZDepth and AO max distance Value in the interface with a spinner.
This script add automatically Light_ENV (It's a LightSelect with "Include Environement light" turn ON) and a Light_SUN (Create a LightSelect with Sun if there is a Sun into the scene) when you add LightMix element.

Preview :

Result of default selection.


Usage :

You need CoronaRenderer Installed !!
"Caustics" checkbox is enable from Corona 4
"Turn ON / OFF" Button : Turn On or OFF All checkbox
"Reset" button : Reset All checkbox to Default
"Delete Existing" button : Delete All Existing Render Element in setup panel
"Delete all existing Render Elements !" Checker : Delete ALL existing Render Elements when you click on ADD


Install :

- Drag and Drop into your viewport
- Open Custumize -> Custumize User Interface...
- Open Toolbar Tab- Find into "# Scripts" category
- Drag and Drop the script into your interface
- DONE !!

Please input view focus tool for DOF in VFB. For example when you click on object in VFB the focus was set on this.

And +10 for the rest in your road map !!!!
