Well I spent 620€ for build with no PSU, SSD, dvd included because I have a lot of this spare unused parts. For GPU I will use GTX 1060 which will be 300€ max, so I hope that this build will be 920€. I found whole new AMD PC with case psu, hdd, dvd, everything (no OS) for 120€ in local computer shop with 2 years warranty but I think that it is not so good as this dual Xeon, and maybe I do wright building this although it is almost 10 times more expensive and much bigger case.

I usually use PC for gaming, internet, doing software, sometimes for virtualization and test applications I made, doing electronics, programming microcontrollers, doing HD home videos. Rarely I use 3ds to do some rotating text or simple animation. I haven't been in 3d since 1995, till then I made a lot of commercials and animations in DOS Autodesk 3d application (does anyone tried it?  Shaper, Loofter... and so). So no heavy duty work, but I think that having such machine is not bad.

cpuz and cinebench score
Great!!!!!  Don't think that everyone has better machine in private own. Only big companies has better workhorses, my firm has but those are net and accounting servers. I don't think that there is a lot of workstation like your is.

But... I packed my dual Xeon in a box this morning. My old i7 is good enough for things I do. This new machine is really big and consume a lot of space. I have to make enough space for other project, some electronics,  I am doing. I will continue story when I get gtx 1060 and I'll do the most important tests. The most important thing computers do and 99% usage scenario.... GAMES!!!! I'll do benchmark in games.

Anyway this computer will be one of more than 60 devices in my local network.

What color to use for hearth-bit effect?

My i7 connected to 42" TV could be seen beside.

I'll make better pictures during a day and without protective plastic, I dont want to scratch window because I still have a few things to do on this PC.

Components for RGB controller and RGB strips cost me about 4€ and I can make any color and effect (I put white strobe effect during post) I imagine. I don't know what to do with internal serial port because I don't have bracket for COM port and that's why I made this RGB controller - to connect internal serial to something.

Blu ray writer drive is ugly but I back up videos on BR and I need it.

Still with plastic protection.

I got 8x8GB Hynix RAM. RAM costed me 95€ but it is beautiful, original package with heatsinks. Think that I will order 64GB more of the same kind. I started PC without additional GPU and sound. I updated bios, firmware, FRU, SDU and all of that. Now I have very quiet fans. I tested memory. I stress tested CPUs with prime95 and Aida but the higher CPU temperature was 62 degree Celsius after an hour. CPU-z benchmark is 19786  (12156 for i7-5960x). Cinebench score is 2004. I will put more pics soon. I will make yt video about all components and system with benchmarks but I will do it when I put GPU. I am thinking to wait gtx 1060 which will be released for a few weeks.

I'm waiting for 64GB ecc ddr3 and usb3.0. I still don't know what GPU to use.

It is serbian webstore.
1€=124din
But only 2 years warranty for Intel MB and there is SAS/SATA raid in box but!!!! there is no breakout cable ..... huh... I can't use it.

I found one store here with a few new S2600COEIOC boards for 220€ and GA-X79-UD3 for 80€. But I have one.

Well there is 4 pin to 8 pin cable. I had one but I didn't want to use this. My cables were too short for case I got and I wanted to use 4 pin for motherboard. I add 35cm to existing 8pin cable, add 40cm and change connector on 6pin GPU cable. I used  4x1mm yellow, 4x1mm black and 2,4mm and 16mm heat shrink tubing. I solder wires and put tubing. It looks good and I tested cables and PSU on working PC. There is one more reason, I wanted CPUs on different rails of PSU. PSU has 4 x 12V(18A) rails so I wanted to distribute current, I don't want rail with 4 and 8 pins to be on bout processors and two rails without load.

But I still waiting for processors. Processors and ram are in custom post office for a whole week!!!!!

EDIT
I read user manual for S2600COEIOC board I bought and 4 pin cable is additional supply for on-board PCIe slots. I want to use RAID Module RMS25KB080 and it seems that it needs power. On Chieftec ctf-750-14cs I have, rails 1 and 2 are used for main 24 pin. Rail 1 is used for hdds also. Rail 2 is connected to 4pin and 8pin cpu cable. There are 4 additional 12v cable sockets on rail 3 and 4 intended to max 4 GPUs. As I will use one GPU I will use rail 3 for 8pin second cpu cable and rail 4 for GPU.

I am still waiting for memory, processors and usb 3.0 card. All of that is at custom service since 12.6.2016.  HUH!
Till now I have:
1. MB Intel  S2600COEIOC
2. Case Phanteks Enthoo Pro Window
3. 2xfans LC Power LC-CC-120
4. PSU Chieftec CFT-750-14CS modular (I customized cables and as this PSU has 4 cables for GPU I modified one cable to 8pin cpu. PSU has 4x12v 18A rails so it will be like this V1-MB v2-cpu2 v3-cpu2 v4-gpu hdd)
5. Kingston 240GB ssd
6. 2x 1TB HDD
7. LG  BH10LS30 Blu Ray Writer
8. Additional case fans 2x14cm

I am still thinking about GPU. What shell I buy?
