Thanks, i downloaded your file and notice my mistake
Everything was ok on the material side, however i had a 5 on Highlight Compress in tone mapping and everything was getting a grey shade that i didnt notice.

however, i havent managed to get the right result yet
first time im using shadowcatcher and i might do this wrong
How my set up is right now
Render>Environment = My HDRI
F10>Environment Override>Direct visibility = corona output with a white corona map into Imput
My background = CoronaShadowCatcher with a white Corona Color into Backplate
i m doing something wrong

Hello,
So im trying to do a "furniture spin animation", which means a simple piece of furniture being rendered for 15 frames while spinning around on a white plane
However, because of the HDRI that im using, the background is grey and not white, which would normally not be a problem since i would mask it in photoshop, but since theres so many renders, it will be time consuming.
So how can i remove the plane that the furniture is on from the renders, while still keeping the shadows that are being cast on it?
Also, is there a way to turn the HDRI invisible to the camera? to keep it affecting the object while not appearing at all in the render?

Hey Hadi, awesome renders, one of the best ive seen in a while
I got a small question about the glass on the "Cameo_02"
The top of the shower glass seems curved or something, it has an interesting reflection and i would like to know how you achieved that.
Also, the brick wall is 3D or its just a map?

Hello,
Is there any way to get more light inside that small area market on the photo?
The scene has only a HDRI and some IES, and as in real life, there is no light pointing directly into that area, but i still think that is out of the context with that shade of black.
So is there any way to get more light there without adding extra artificial lights?

Hi Juraj, sorry for bringing this up, but im planning in buying all the part this Monday ( most of them are those that you recommended )
However, i got an offer from a friend with this PC:

It comes with 32 gb ram
As a newby i cant figure it out which one if better, i did some comparison between parts, but afaik this work stations are optimized better so i dont know if taking them part by part will help.
Do you think that this HP station is worth it over the components you suggested? its around 200euro cheaper

« on: 2016-03-21, 20:04:39 »IMHO with this budget you can get a pretty good 5820k with 32Gb of RAM, a ver good render node for a low budget, I don't have time to give you a full config, but basically an Asus motherboard, a closed liquid cooling system and a low cost GPU :)Thank you, thats a good direction to start looking

a second PC just for renders
So only a 'node' ? The first computer will still be your workstation ?
Someone else will use my old PC probably, so i will need a PC where i can do the modeling+ texturing.
