[Max] I need help! / Rendering with ver 1.3 is MUCH slower

Hello
i had a problem when i upgraded to version 1.3.
The issue consist in a major slow down of the rendering process e.g. the same scene (same camera/material/lights) now takes up to 8 hours when it only lasted few minutes with version 1.2.
I tried to downgrade back to the 1.2 version but it gives an error message stating something like "missing .dll".
I should also clarify that I'm using 3ds max 2016 on my 8 gb ram workstation.
Could somebody help me with this problem??
