"Have you tried turning it OFF and back ON? "

Didnt find the solution, but seems to work after restarting the computer :)

HI, has anyone come across this message while distributed rendering? I am trying it on 2 slaves and both slaves return the same message in the log. The slaves return 0 updates and 0 passes and they show parsing scene then Connection failed and this goes on repeatedly.
I am attaching the logs + screenshot of the exr that is saved
Can anyone please advise what the problem might be?
thanks!

Memory needs to be fast as it directly affects the speed of the processor(or, at least, its rendering times in Corona, which is all that matters to me), and you need to check its been tested with your motherboard (Check the manufacturers QVL lists for tested ram and pick from there, should be found on their websites and lists ram that they have actually tested with the motherboard).

Hi, are there any benchmarks or test/comparisons to support this? When you say speed of  memory is it timings or the actual frequency? A friend of mine tested cinebench scores of 2990wx at different memory frequencies and the results were completely negligible

I am also about to build a 2990wx rig for rendering so don't want to waste money on expensive RAM modules unnecessarily

Thanks for the info.

root is SSD, with 51% disk usage according to windows task manager.

Can any one please advise... my render in 4000px width is going terribly slow, becasue the processor is used only at 2-3 percent. ram usage on the computer is at 85%. I have previously renderred the scene at 2000px and it all went quite fast.
thanks for any help.

how about enabling the use of the vray stereo camera helper? its pretty straightforward and simple to use.
