[C4D] General Discussion / Sampling balance in cinema 4d

I am at the stage where i have no clue how to optimize my sampling/speed accuracy balance for my animation in cinema 4d.
what i think so far is that i will render a frame and see how many passes i need, then put a pass limit and then just have tıff sequences rendering away...
