I tried to find the Performace --> Development/Experimental stuff in Corona Render Setup Window...

Looks promising. Unfortunately I'm not using max 2017.
Can you save the scene downwards compatible to max 2014? Or at least max 2016?

following this tutorial: t=8s
i can get a kind of undefined volume fog - but no godrays.
Also the values for distance in the volumetric material I played with to get any kind of volume fog are completely differnt to the tutorial.
I started to day with the 1.5.1 hotfix download a trial period.
I will attach my scene and a reference render.
Would be great if someone could point me to a solution.
