Hi,

thanks for the comment.

What do you mean by te interiors could be smaller?

If you pay attention to the interiors, there is sames furnitures in all appartments,
After setting the rules of the railclones for the walls and the kitchen, it takes 2 hours to one person to set up the walls, the furnitures, and to send to file to render

Hello,

I want to share with you our last work with corona:

archbook3d.com/cogedim/fischer/Maquette_360/Lot_B/export/Lot_B.html

You can rotate the model, choose a building, navigate in the floors, and choosing an appartment.

The building were mostly done with Railclone (different rules for, windows, doors, walls, balcony...) as well as the walls in appartments and the kitchen parts.

[Max] Bug Reporting / Re: Viewport selection render

I think he want to talk about the rendering selected function.

When you use it on an object behind a glass, the render is black.

Thanks for your advice.

But right now i just suggest to devs to add a new useful feature that can save a lot of time in some case where rerendering all the frames is a pain and deadlines are short

In certain cases the render selected mode is note usable.

For example, you have a moving object in the scene (a cube of 10x10x10)
But your client want to change this object to another cube (5x5x5).

You can't just render this selected object, because in comp the first object will be visible behind.

I have done a workaround. A cone linked to the camera and with a lookat constraint to the object. The cone have a pure black diffuse, and a ray switch transparent for GI, reflection, refraction

That work but, it's a bit complicated

Hi,

A render region that move and resize frame per frame, following an object or dumy can be usefull in case of rerendering a part of animated scene (obect moving inside au room...)

Correct me if I'm wrong but vray has this sort of thing with vraysphere fade.
It's a Gizmo sphere that you can link to your animated object.
Juste the area inside the sphere is rendered.

Now that vray and Corona are together, maybe a possibility to have this option quickly?
Thanks

Any news about that possible feature?

The material library is very useful for beginners and to have a good basis to work on materials
One suggestion:
The names of textures are veeeery long (same for the thumbnails)
Can we have a human readable names ?
Two averages:
- Reducing errors from Windows  with loong names and paths
- wen working in a scene, it's always preferable to have names for assets, textures that can be understand by others

Connecter can:

- Generate thumbnail from viewport, render preset, render studio...
- Categorize file
- Generate thumbnail for ies
- recognize the render engine
- generate thumbnail for materials
- a maxscript is embeded to allow to drag and drop asset directly to the max viewport and place them on surfaces.

See the videos of connecter

A very smart tool, and free!!
