[Max] I need help! / Look issues with Beauty vs Lightmix

Something I'm having an issue with is understanding why I'm getting such a wildly different look between how my renders look in Interactive Lightmix vs Beauty. I love the way the renders look in Lightmix, but in Beauty the contrast is all off and I have a hard time with them. I'm mainly trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong, and just why I always see such a huge difference when there's not much extra added in the Beauty pass.

[Max] General Discussion / Render on Windows, CIE on Mac?

A workflow I'm really curious about is: using Corona with 3ds Max on my Windows computer, but then using CEXR files in CIE on my MacBook while on the go?

I'm wondering if if I were to do this, it would require getting a totally different C4D license as well, or whether there's a way to just have the image editor program?

This is probably a really dumb question; I've just been spinning my head upside down trying to do the mental gymnastics around this

[Max] I need help! / Camera setup issue

This is my first time using 3ds Max or Corona, so the issue is definitely on my end.

I'm following a tutorial, but when I go to add a camera, it shows up like you can see in the image. When I hit add corona camera, then click and drag, there's nothing interactive happening like I'm seeing in different tutorials. Instead, it's just a single point in the viewport. Any idea what this is?

EDIT: not sure how to delete this post, but it was the funnel icon in the viewport that I had switched on...
