Hey Corona community,

We at gmsvision are thrilled to share our latest 3D visualization project, HIPPIEMENTS VILLAGE. This video is a creative exploration of a retro, vibrant world filled with surreal elements and a nostalgic atmosphere. We wanted to create a unique visual experience, blending a vintage hippie aesthetic with modern 3D techniques—and Corona Renderer was our go-to tool to bring this vision to life.

Thanks for checking out our work! We look forward to your feedback and thoughts.

BEAUTIFUL WORK! but i dont understand, how did you denoise all 2,700 frames in post? with photoshop or corona standalone denoiser? was it tedious to do? Also, how many minutes per frame?

It was an animation so we denoised with MAGIC BULLET DENOISER III in After effects. The render time was around 7-10 min per frame for 100 passes.Thank you for you nice words :P

Thx for the feedback gmsvision.

Would advise to  1.always precalculate the uhd cashe  (use a frame in the midle of the animation)
                         2. dont use denoising if u want to save some time and denoise in post ( untick Lock sampling pattern if u do so )
                         3. we had some problems (noise patterns) using hdri if u you have same problems go  with corona sun and sky like we did

1. So for shots with wind animation, you have precalculated only one frame in the midle of the animation for the UHD cache ? And there was no flickering ? If you've done that this way, it's good to know.
2. That's what I planned
3. Hmm wasn't aware of this bug, I'll be carefull, thanks.

1.ya that is what ondra said at the last corona-academy
3.dont think its a bug just didnt have the time to test it any further (send a scene to corona support ect )  due to  tight deadlines with this animation. But ya the noise pattern were pretty annoying... :P

Really nice animation. I agree, plants are well animated. Did you made these yourself ?
Renders are really clean also, can you share a little bit more about your render settings ? I'm starting my first corona animation project, it would be usefull :)

y most of them are max tree grow fx models  with reworked materials and put wind modifiers for the animation.

Awesome! I really like it! Mey i ask, which hdri's you used in this three projects? (dusk, sunset, blue)I know that from http://noemotionhdrs.net/hdrevening.html this website but what's names of hdri's?

Have a nice day!!

thanks for the nice comments!
the hdri we used are  Dusk-04-15_Sky  Sunset- 05-01_Sun_C  Blue-04-11_Sun_D
but u can get similar results with any Hdri from noemotionhdri  or from the peter guthrie ones.

gmsvision, can you describe how did you used different environment hdri backgrounds and lightning?  the images were done completely in corona framebuffer with light mix, did you use photoshop to shancge background? as i know we can use only one hdri lightning, and change its intensity and white balace? corona video tutorial shows how to change one background - intensity, color balance.

keep it realy simple  for  all moods except sunny mood.
just put a hdri ( marek denko in this case) in the enviroment slot and play with exposure highlight compresion ect.just that no secrets here.
for the sunny mood adjust the hdri as shown in the corona tutorial  store alpha chanel and change the backround in photoshop with a backplate of the hdri.
in photoshop we do very litle only wight balance some contrast and  a slight  chromatic aberration as u see below.
Hope this helps.

Amazing.

My favorite is the sunny one, cause i don't know how to achieve such strong and sharp shadows with hdri lighting. Could you give me a clue ? :)

there are may tutorials out there but the corona one
is maybe the best one.
hope this can help you :P

Thanks a lot for your kind and encouraging comments.
Not surprising that none of you preferred the sunny mood…… which is the obsession of most of our customers :P , since they are not easy to be persuaded for something else.

All images are done with marek denko HDRI (http://noemotionhdrs.net/) and the mighty  LIGHT MIXER which made possible the development of such pictures in an easier and better way than in the past.
