I guess really problem is wet bumpy road :) This road is actually bumpy dry road but you used it for an another aim. If i were ı would use another road texture more smooth giving effect reflection to give an idea wet... Another point is lighting of building... Appearance of the building is so warm kind a weather like this. you can get more correct lighting if you use cloudly hdri as a light source... By the way good work...

Nice work... Good lightning and good balance... I just find carpet too thin looks paper except living room, got my attention... I love corona :)

Tomeytos think that corona is though differently from other render engines, the default settings are thought to work as the best settings for most of the situations, interior or exterior, since it is an unbiased or nearly unbiased render engine, there are not complex settings that will make a super difference like in vRay or Mental Ray.

Anyways check the manual and play with the settings and you will see this by yourself, but if you don't have time to do that, go with default settings, they work pretty well in the majority of circumstances.
