Cosmos only shows you materials that work with the render engine in use. Sounds like some new ones were added and not flagged as being not ready for Corona, so they showed up briefly, then they set the data to say not Corona ready and they went away again. We (as in Chaos overall) are often looking to add new materials to Cosmos, so there may be test items that show up by accident now and then :)

After doing some research, I understood the situation. These are V-Ray materials. I think it connected to the V-Ray library as a result of an error while connecting to the Corona cosmos browser.

Hello, I've seen new materials that I don't normally get into Chaos Cosmos. Interesting materials like iridescent metal, soap bubbles... When I tried to use one of these materials, the material was not activated. Later, when I restarted Maxi and entered Chaos Cosmos, these ingredients were not there. I don't understand why so many interesting new materials have come and gone that I've seen.
