Max native Physical materials are not converted at the moment

Oh it looks like I mis-read the question, if you want to convert Max native Physical you can use this script:
https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=40571.0

I dont know about native Standard materials though.

No worries, thank you in any case for contributing to this conversation. I will look into your script and see what i can do.

Thank you very much for your help and insight.

Max native Physical materials are not converted at the moment, that will be addressed in the future though (after Corona 11, that is). However, other materials (including the Corona Legacy, if you have that checked) should be converted to the new Corona Physical Material. This works for the Max native "Standard (Legacy)" material under Scanline, for instance.

True yes, native Physical Mtls do not convert with the Convertor, this also happens to native Standard (Legacy) Mtls for me at least..

Thank you for the insight though.

H everyone! New user here i nthe forums.

I ve been working with corona for the past 2 year and recently i upgraded to corona 10 and max 2024.

In the previous versions of corona when i used the convertor, it converted material to Corona Legacy as they are refered to now and the nodes were kept connected.

In the new version, at least for the standar or physical materilas, it doesnt convert them to CoronaPhysicalMtl. It keeps the same Material type and only converts the bitmaps.

I know i can manually go and change the material type afterwards but thats way too much time cosnuming, having to individually reconnect every bitmap node to its material, considering the workload i have an Architectural Landscaper.

Anyone might have a workaround? Is its something thats gonna be changed in the future or is this the new norm?
