The Last Shelter.
Inspired by the Georgian film Mother of a Locality by Goderdzi Chokheli, this project channels poetic solitude and cultural memory into architectural form. The Last Shelter explores how architecture can breathe life back into forgotten places. The film’s main character protects the village from disappearance — a metaphor that, in this project, positions architecture as a source of life for its surroundings. Architecture becomes a guardian of the past. It stands alone, yet not empty. It becomes the last place where someone might still arrive, still remember, still belong. Even when the village fades, this structure remains — like a gravestone, a monument, and a home all at once.

A conceptual exploration of the contrast between the artificial and the organic.
This linear architectural form cuts through untouched landscape like a silent intervention — neither dominating nor disappearing, but existing in quiet resistance.
The project reflects on solitude, scale, and the emotional weight of minimalism in vast natural settings.
It invites the viewer to question presence, permanence, and harmony within the wilderness.

Lighting plays a crucial role in architectural visualization, influencing mood, depth, and spatial perception. By experimenting with various lighting conditions, we can control the narrative and emotional impact of a space, making it feel inviting, dramatic, or serene.

Gallery / Foggy Pine Hill Shelter

A minimalist retreat nestled into a pine-covered hillside — designed as a quiet space for reflection. The structure blends raw white concrete and warm wooden slats, echoing the calm and simplicity of its natural surroundings.
The surrounding vegetation remains untouched — a mix of wild undergrowth, moss, and stone that softens the transition from the manmade to the organic. A faint trail leads up the hill, giving the sense of discovery. As fog rolls in through the forest canopy, the shelter appears and disappears like a memory — ephemeral, calm, and completely at peace with the landscape.
This project is not about boldness. It is about retreat. A place where noise fades, time slows, and thought takes root.

Wooden Retreat - Quiet dialogue between architecture and nature...
Minimalist timber structure set in a mountainous pine forest. Using a modular post-and-beam system, the building is elevated on slender wooden columns resting on natural stone footings. The design balances lightness with structural clarity, blending modern form with traditional techniques.
Large glass panels open the interior to the landscape, while metal tension cables support cantilevered elements, adding a sense of engineered elegance. The structure minimizes site impact, hovering lightly above the terrain and embracing the natural slope
