[Max] I need help! / Problem with caustics

Can someone please tell me what's going on? I'm using corona sun with intensity .05 (I've tested increasing it to 1.0), I've tested Hdri (several).
I'm using noise (I've already tested increasing and decreasing the height and scale) and turbo smooth.
What can it be? The caustics of the water are of a horrible quality (it seems faceted) and besides it has many fireflyes.
Somebody help me, please!
