Since Modo is a The Foundry product, it started to receive for love from the developers and the user base increased also. I guess a lot of people is starting to look at it with different eyes, due to the relation with Nuke and Mari. Definitely Corona for Modo would be a good addition.

I know that is too much stuff to be implemented before you consider the custom Fresnel Curve, but this is a very import feature that allows to tweak reflections and make materials look a lot more realistic. Since I started to use this in Vray, I'm getting a lot more control and making the materials to look exactly like I want.
I'd be very happy if you could consider to implement it in the future.

Use the Bug Report system to report bugs, as that is the quickest way to report them and making sure it is viewed by the developer(s).
I'd also suggest for you to open your own thread for suggesting features, like Silverwings did here: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,4152.0.html
Posting bugs/suggestions all over the forums doesn't help anyone.

I have also tried with Emission slot instead of diffuse, in corona material, but it doesn't work. Neither it works with standard c4d material and luminance channel.
Maybe we can get some official answers here.

The way you light a scene using an HDRI, using standard materials is through the Luminance channel, not the diffuse.
Apparently in Corona materials is through the Diffuse channel. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I'm also happy with the type of results I'm getting so far, although I only tested some clay renders. I didn't had the time to test HDRI lighting yet but did you tried the default C4D method?

What conditions have to be Beta tester. :)
The software needs to be in the beta stage :)
I tried to be an alpha tester but they closed the submissions. Since that the public alpha release is eminent, you'll have plenty of testing to do...

I didn't knew there was only one developer for D4D. As regarding this as being a free project, Corona is free for now, while in the current development stage. So I guess that once a paid system is implemented, more developers will jump in!

The newest version now supports more features and is much more "workable" Although its not on the 3Ds Max level yet.
Who knows if with more people testing it and giving more feedback, development will speed up?
