As for the select and place feature in 3ds max it has "use base as pivot" option (right click the icon).
It helps a lot the process of managing the assets in the scene and you should use it more :).

Why is suddenly everything so tense?
I mean it's a very nice presentation of a model and a shader technique. It is nothing suspicious about this.
The argument that you need a low poly model to prove it's your work it is not very reasonable. And I am sure that you know it too.
I'm just curious why do you insist on this particular model? Is it that you had experience modeling these type of models or just a hunch?

Anyway Rawalanche great job. No need to overanalyze things when the first impression is good.
Keep the great work as usual.

Yeah i know it's for Canada, I only pointed that because OP wasn't from Canada he didn't know what the standard's were there.
And the 50$ fee was really low but that's why he asked in first place i guess.
As for which country has such low standards I don't know precisely, but we have a general idea. After all my country has some low standards too.
Have a great day.

Greetings,

This topic seems complex always because of the reasons mentioned from other users here (time, scale, level of detail...)
but also as a result of difference in standards of different countries. That reasons the 50$ question because it's a standard on some countries,
whereas in most of the Europe and North America it is considered a joke.
In a survey that i read in 2014 i think, it came out that only 10% worked for less than 600 € (around 670$) for a view/render.
I hope that helps a little.

Thanks dia for the comment.
I've tried different backplates for the exterior, and they were with higher exposure. But it didn't feel quite right.
That's why I placed 3d trees outside to be more natural and not try to fake it.
I've worked with a reference but I didn't know the architect. My bad, and thank you for the info.

Thank you guys, I appreciate the kind words.
I use also Vray but Corona is turning tables in business. It's easier to use and the lighting is great.
The only feature that needs is adaptive sampling. That will turn it into a beast.

Cheers

Thanks a lot Nekrobul. It's a really nice compliment considering the work that is posted in here.

As for the floor material is a Composite map with different noise sizes and a value of 0.1 in bump.
I've attached a photo of the map with the settings.

Cheers

Wow stunning work. Especially the Farnsworth house.
Could you share more details about it. I mean lighting and materials.
Cheers
