I think that's the problem right there... 200Mb for texturing is not the way to go - keep your texture map sizes efficient and manageable, nothing more than 500kb in Sketchup, anything more renders the texture unusable.
Most of what I do for architecture rarely ends up more than 20Mb in SKP file size. For Interiors it rarely goes beyond 10Mb.
i think its more to do with the model itself. If you look closely to the screenshot the OP has posted, you will find 3d grass blades and the trees that hes used is rather highpoly itself. The building alone would be much smaller in size i am sure. Again, its just my assumption based on the screen shot posted by the OP.

Hi,
I know its kinda early for you to give an answer to this, but i want to get an idea on what the strategy would be with regards to pricing and licensing.
I really hope the licensing is not like what octane follows.. its a huge deal breaker for me since the workstations i work with are not connected to the internet - ever. I know its kinda lame, but thats the internal policy for really expensive machines here, so lets not get to that topic.

try adjusting the f number in the camera modifier....
default f8.... try f2.8 or lower for more pronounced DOF... though you might have to increase the shutter speed value to get the exposure back on track.

if you are using a standard max camera, you might want to apply the corona camera modifier to the camera and enable DOF in that also....

well for the church renders.. i havent done anything special with the lighting... its just corona sun with sky in the corona environmental tab...
as for the exhibition space, i cant remember what i had done right now... i will chk it out later when i get back home and let you know...

another thing could be that my monitors arent calibrated properly.. hence it might be looking washed out on your monitors???

Hello,
First time posting here... Been following corona for a while now in the shadows... and finally managed to download the Alpha 6 version and test it out... and as expected i am blown by the results..
I hope to do lot more renders of various projects i have done over the past and post them here...

This church project was not modelled by me.. it was posted in the old sketchup forums by a very talented modeller named Paul Russam. I have rendered this in various other rendering engines over the past and now it has been coronered too ;)

This second one is an exhibition stand i did recently (but unfortunately it never flew for reasons beyond my control :()
Anyways it was a fun project to render...

PS.... how do i attach directly to the post?? Is it because i dont have any posts yet???
