Title: Interactive Render uses all cores, but 'Render' using only 50% of cores
Post by: Noah45 on 2015-10-18, 05:26:47
Both are set to use all cores.

If I could change the Interactive Render resolution to 1080p, that would also be good.

thanks.

Not good at explaining this, try another way.

Why does IR consistently run the processors @ 100%, but when I Render, it only runs them @ 30-50%.

Does that make any more sense?

Check how many threads you have allocated to rendering, in the main render setup dialog. The default is 0, I think, so all threads should be in use. This is a separate value from the threads to use for IR, which should default to -1 (so it uses all threads minus one).

Hard to say. It could been my too O.C'ing, or just updated the build.

It seems to be Siger shaders problem. Anyone else experiencing this problem using Siger?
