i want to try to recreate this interior modifying the interior design.
this is first step..
-
I've moved this to the dedicated WIP section
-
ah ok. sorry :)
-
difference between rc4 and rc5...
in my case rc5 it's 50 % slower, i installed rc5 re-open this scene and click render..
maybe something wrong..
-
are you using assert or release?
-
release
-
i tried to reinstall old version for have confirm but old dll doesn't work.. is it normal?
-
does not work how? Fails on scene load, or max startup? What is the error message?
-
btw if you post the scene I'll look into what might be causing the slowdown
-
error message in max startup, like problems to dll ecc
-
then the files were just probably overwritten badly. Try to download/copy it again and make sure you really overwrite all 3 files.
-
the error message appears when I switched from rc5 to rc4 .. Now I re-copied the rc5 files and everything works fine But I no longer 3,000,000 rays / s but 1,500,000, i upload the scene in http://corona-renderer.com/upload/
I had to simplify the scene but it is still slow.
-
have you received the scene?
-
yes, I'll look into it immediately
-
thank you.. :)
these are the warnings that appear when I restart max after replacing the files of version 5 with those of version 4
-
you mixed up binaries from different builds
-
mmm.. how can i fix this? I tried to delete all files of a corna but maybe I'm missing something ...
-
just make sure you overwrite all 3 files, that should be all. Check their timestamps
-
looks like the performance in the scene is completely killed by texture sampling inside 3dsmax. I'll look into it further when I get to my workstation
-
up...
i need an old bicycle, anyone know where I can find one?
-
How "old" ;- ) ? The best fixie 3d model is at design-connected http://www.designconnected.com/category/accessories/Fixie-Bike_p5081 or this one is decent too http://3dsky.org/modules/files/showfile.php?lid=22809
-
thank you, old like second link:)
-
up..
-
up materials with little post
-
I think interior walls should never be completely dark, at least ceiling and some frames on the walls should be bright. Otherwise it looks as if the interior was burned by fire ;)
-
thank you Rawalanche
I love the tone on tone, I find it elegant, I can increase the difference in tone but I wouldn't create a strong contrast .. :)
-
I see you've found some nice old bike. :)
-
yes maru.. this :) http://www.evermotion.org/modelshop/show_product/bike-01-am114/8721/0/0/

I want to understand how you would change the walls and the ceiling, if you want to share :)
