difference between rc4 and rc5...
in my case rc5 it's 50 % slower, i installed rc5 re-open this scene and click render..
maybe something wrong..

btw if you post the scene I'll look into what might be causing the slowdown

then the files were just probably overwritten badly. Try to download/copy it again and make sure you really overwrite all 3 files.

the error message appears when I switched from rc5 to rc4 .. Now I re-copied the rc5 files and everything works fine But I no longer 3,000,000 rays / s but 1,500,000, i upload the scene in http://corona-renderer.com/upload/
I had to simplify the scene but it is still slow.

just make sure you overwrite all 3 files, that should be all. Check their timestamps

looks like the performance in the scene is completely killed by texture sampling inside 3dsmax. I'll look into it further when I get to my workstation

I think interior walls should never be completely dark, at least ceiling and some frames on the walls should be bright. Otherwise it looks as if the interior was burned by fire ;)

thank you Rawalanche

I love the tone on tone, I find it elegant, I can increase the difference in tone but I wouldn't create a strong contrast .. :)

I want to understand how you would change the walls and the ceiling, if you want to share :)
