Title: Fabric Material in C4D
Post by: fLuppster on 2015-09-19, 11:32:23
Hi there, i've got some problems figuring out how to correctly set up a fabric material in C4D. I try to use a fresnel or a falloff as mask in a blend material. The top material has more reflection and the bottom one nearly none. Also tried it with a fusion shader. Is this the right direction or am i just failing? It looks just crappy. ;)

What is your approach?

Ok i got it. Wrong channel. Moved it to the diffusion channel, but still: It seems the falloff shader does not work properly as mask for me.

For now i got good results with standard IOR and low glossiness values (0.15-0.3) and a slightly brighter version of the diffuse color in reflection color.

best regards
