Hi, if the render is not stoped to save the image, corona will save the diffuse chanel of the current render BUT the render elements from the previous one, even if is a different camera psoition.
-
Hi. I would like to reproduce this.
Hi, if the render is not stoped to save the image
I do not understand this part. Can you explain when this happens?
corona will save the diffuse chanel of the current render
You mean beauty pass, right? Or diffuse element only?
-
Hi Maru, gload to see it will be looked at.
I always use progresive render, if the render is leflt running and you save the image it will save the diffuse chanel from the image been rendered but the render elements (direct light, indirect light .....) from the previous image even if it is from a diferent camera position
yes beauty pass

Either I cannot reproduce it, or it works different in the version I am using ( 1.3 DailyBuild Aug 17 2015 ), or maybe there is some misunderstanding here.
What I did:
1. Create camera, add render elements.
2. Press render - VFB pops up, image is rendering, press and hold on "save" button, select "save all"
3. Beauty + all elements get saved as test1_XXX.jpg
---
4. Change camera position, etc
5. Press render - VFB pops up, image is rendering, press and hold on "save" button, select "save all"
6. Beauty + all elements get saved as test2_XXX.jpg
So I get 2 different versions of beauty + elements as expected.
On the other hand, if you press "save" only (not "save all"), then only the beauty pass will get saved, without all the other elements. Maybe this is what you did?

maru , i missed one thing, im saving as exr with all the passes
-
100% reproducible for me here, if you cant see it i can make a crapy cel video for you
-
It would be great if you could record the video, or write step by step instructions similar to what I did. I still cannot recreate this.

So?? any news
-
Confirmed. Indeed happens only if you save exr while the image is still rendering in the vfb. Sorry for the delay.
-
This currently seems to be impossible to support. It looks like 3dsmax expects to receive render elements only after the render, not during.

ok, will have than on mind. thx for the answer
