Post by: jslowsky on 2015-08-20, 19:28:38: Beautiful work, just a quick detail from an old carpenter. You would never "butt joint" your exterior boards like you have shown right down the middle. It will only cause water leakage into your house. I suggest you off-set them or make boards that run the entire length... for realistic purposes.
