Hi People,
Is Corona Alpha V6 supported on Windows 10?
-
yes, it should work
-
Thank you. Does the newer versions of Corona work on Windows 10 as well?
-
yes, there is no reason why Corona should not work on win10. We already switched to W10 in development.
-
I'm using Corona with Win 10 without any problem, as expected!
-
Can someone tell us, how's max behaving with Win10? I mean new windows is still not supported officially by autodesk and i'm cautious about switching to 10.
-
I'm working on W10, no problems so far.
Cheers.

I have too many problems with a big scene, maybe 100 trees (proxies) and an EXR file as HDRI. Max 2016 and Win10. Old scene in win8.1 and corona 1.2 work great but now is a pain....
Anyone know if win10 is making this problem? Sorry my english.

Anyone using 3DS Max 2014, Railclone and Forest Pack Pro on Windows 10?

Anyone using 3DS Max 2014, Railclone and Forest Pack Pro on Windows 10?
Max 16 seems to be working fine with those 2. Dont know if it helps:)
-
Max 2016 ext 1, forest and corona all working fine apart from a fast exit bug that I'm trying to isolate. Seems to be when doing anything whilst rendering = kaboom, but not always. Solution so far is to render via bb.

Just loaded on Windows 10 and Corona Alpha 6 causes 3DS Max 2014 to crash on startup. Any ideas people?
Many thanks

NOTE: Corona Alpha v6 will not receive any bug fixes, support or our future attention. This software is available "as is" without warranty of any kind.
So even if there is some problem, and even if Ondra will be willing to fix it, it will probably be extremely low priority.
btw, maybe you are using some older A6 version? There is A6.1 which, I think, only had installer changed, but maybe it's worth a try.

Thanks for your reply - I will give 6.1 a try.
-
Tried 6.1 and it doesn't work either :(
-
Just an update and we got it to work in the end. You have to run 3DS max in compatibility mode under Windows 7 and admin rights. Works a treat now :)
-
Try demo version - it crashes as well ?
