Hello everyone!
I have got such a strange thing, leather material, quite simple, but nevertheless it turned out with such artifacts. Who knows what could be the problem? I would be very grateful for a hint.

Most likely it's this problem: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,6883

Yup, definitely looks like solid glass + glossy reflections problem.

At first it was happy and was quick to resolve, but then I remembered that solid glass I have made through rayswitcher c empty slot GI. I even hid the window, but the spots on the couch and remained, in General my problem is not with a solid glass. (

Can you show how you made the rayswitch-glass material?
Do the dark spots disappear if you change the material on the sofa? (for example to a matte grey one)?
Could you send this scene or a part of it where the error occurs (for example the sofa or other object + materials + glass)?

1. It's not the glasses, I even hid them temporarily and the result remained the same, even without Windows
2. The spots do not disappear, changing a little the intensity of the spots, but the form remains
3. I can do that later, now I have is a miscalculation another angle of the room

The material config is wrong. The glass should not be visible in reflections for this to work. There is a sample .max in this thread:

If it's not the fault of glass (which I doubt, maybe it comes from another glass?) - the it would probably be a problem with geometry.
-
Looks more like a normals problem with the couch geometry to me.
-
You can try to create plane or sphere with similar noise-modifier like your sofa and put this material...
looks like incorrect face normals...
-
Guys, with the geometry all okay. There is no normal bump and certainly no inverted normals or object in the object 100%. This is clearly a problem of the engine may indeed glass. But what I find curious is what I did for glass, material ray switch with a fully empty slots and had the same spots. That's supposed to speak for the sofa, there is no glass at all, and to reflect it shouldn't, but the spots are still there.

hey :)
If you want share your model with us...That will be cool.
I would like check that part of model!
Thanks my name :)

Hi. Have you tried hiding/removing the bottles and glasses on the table as well as the windows? What happens?

That's what I haven't tested yet, so far only the Windows hid. Need to test and hide all glass surfaces.
Unfortunately, I can not give enough time for tests and experiments due to the large amount of work. But definitely I'll conduct individual tests and share the results in this thread.
